Getting started
New here? This is the fastest way to get oriented.
- Start at the top strip. The scrolling ticker shows the GSE Composite Index, USD/GHS rate, gold and fuel prices, the Bank of Ghana policy rate, and the latest headlines — all live.
- Use the tab bar (GSE Markets, IPOs, Rates & FX, Commodities, Alerts, News and more) to jump between the different data feeds the dashboard tracks.
- Check the status badge above the securities table — it shows whether the Ghana Stock Exchange is currently Live or Market Closed, and now accounts for Ghana's public holidays.
- Tap any row in the Live Securities table for a stock's price, daily change, year-to-date performance, trading volume and market cap.
- Use "Ask AI" at the bottom of the page to ask a plain-language question about any stock, IPO, security event or economic trend.
- Upgrade to Pro if you want full news history, defence alerts and portfolio tracking — core market data stays free.

Stock prices refresh automatically every 90 seconds during trading hours, and news, IPO, and macroeconomic feeds update continuously, so the dashboard reflects current market conditions rather than a static snapshot.
You must trade through a Licensed Dealing Member (LDM) — the GSE does not accept orders directly from individuals. Open a trading/CSD account with an LDM (Ghana Card, passport photo and TIN), fund it, then place buy/sell orders through the broker's dealer or online platform. The dashboard's "Where to Buy Shares" panel lists the GSE's licensed brokers.

To actually subscribe, you apply through a Licensed Dealing Member (LDM) or your stockbroker during the offer's open period -- the dashboard itself does not process IPO applications.
